About the Department
The School of Law at the University of Edenberg is committed to shaping legal professionals who are prepared to lead in Zambia’s rapidly evolving legal and governance landscape. With the increasing demand for legal expertise across sectors such as business, government services, human rights, and environmental law, UoE programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive justice and societal progress.
Our curriculum combines rigorous academic learning with practical experience through internships, paralegal camps, moot court participation, and research projects. Students gain hands-on experience in areas such as constitutional law, corporate law, human rights, and criminal law, ensuring they are well-prepared for diverse legal careers in private practice, public service, or international organizations.

Duration of the Programme
The School of Law at the University of Edenberg offers a variety of programs, each with a specific duration designed to meet the needs and schedules of our diverse student body.
Undergraduate Programme - 4 Years of Eight (8) Semesters each.
Mode of Delivery
The University of Edenberg’s School of Law recognizes that students have diverse learning preferences and needs. To ensure every student can access the best possible educational experience, we offer flexible modes of delivery tailored to suit a variety of learning styles and schedules. Whether you prefer traditional classroom interaction or a more flexible online approach, we provide multiple program structures to support your individual goals and maximize your learning experience.
Face-to-Face Learning
Traditional, in-person classes provide students with direct interaction with faculty and peers, facilitating active discussions, debates, and hands-on learning in a collaborative environment.
Blended Learning
A combination of online and in-person instruction, allowing students to access lectures and course materials digitally while participating in in-person seminars and workshops for practical, hands-on experiences.
Open Distance and eLearning
Designed for students who need a more flexible learning schedule, this mode allows students to access course content, attend virtual lectures, and complete assignments remotely, offering a convenient path to earn a law degree from anywhere.
Entry Requirements
For entry into the Degree programme, the applicant must meet the university entrance requirements; that is, a candidate must have a full School Certificate with at least five “O” level credits, including English and Mathematics, or any other internationally recognized equivalent.
Students from other countries may be admitted if they hold either comparable certification or university admission status in their own country.
A student who holds a diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution is also eligible for admission directly into the second year.
